Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys – Board Certification Test

The American Bar Association on August 7, 2018, approved board certification for attorneys handling truck accident claims, which is good news for those looking to practice law in the field of trucking litigation.

The Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys is pleased to announce that it has obtained bar accreditation from the American Bar Association.

It is the first and only ABA accredited board certification in Truck Accident Law in the country. 

The Truck Accident Law Board Certification, which took three years to develop and was implemented in collaboration with the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA), is intended to assist customers to select a competent truck accident lawyer based on objectively verifiable credentials.

To become licensed as a Truck Accident Lawyer, attorneys must complete several requirements, including demonstrating a large percentage of their practice in trucking litigation, having hands-on experience with numerous truck accident cases, and passing a comprehensive written examination.

The next board certification exam for Truck Accident Law is scheduled for November 19, 2022. 

The registration deadline for the November 19th exam is November 2, 2022. 

Between October 5, 2022, and no later than November 5, 2022, you will be required to take a mandatory mock examination.

Membership in the Academy is open to plaintiff lawyers only.

Designations are not for sale, and attorneys do not receive special treatment.

To become a Board Certified member, a lawyer is thoroughly investigated during a time-consuming procedure that includes real-world expertise and results in handling truck accident cases.
